Gobierno emite decreto para regular servicios tecnológicos financieros y proveedores de activos virtuales
El Gobierno emitió este miércoles 17 de mayo de 2025 un decreto supremo, mediante el cual plantea una regulación para el funcionamiento de empresas especializadas en servicios tecnológicos financieros y que se dedican a la provisión de activos virtuales, además de pagos, remesas, préstamos y soluciones en este ámbito.

Estimados asociados compartimos la Resolución Administrativa N° UIF/19/2025 (UIF)
La presente resolución deja sin efecto las resoluciones administrativas anteriores relacionadas con Proveedores de Servicios de Activos Virtuales (PSAV).
Además, establece la obligación de registro ante la UIF para todas las personas naturales o jurídicas que, con fines de lucro, desarrollen actividades comerciales vinculadas a activos virtuales. Las actividades sujetas a registro están detalladas en el Resuelve Tercero de la resolución, e incluyen operaciones como:
- Intercambio entre Activos Virtuales (AV) y monedas fiduciarias;
- Intercambio entre una o más formas de AV;
- Transferencia de AV;
- Custodia y/o administración de AV o instrumentos que permitan el control sobre los AV;
- Participación y provisión de servicios financieros relacionados con la oferta de un emisor y/o venta de un AV.
De acuerdo a la Resolución, este registro busca fortalecer la supervisión y cumplimiento de la normativa en materia de prevención de legitimación de ganancias ilícitas y financiamiento
